Many people believe that the road to health is through exercise. Actually, it is merely a means of stimulating the action of the muscles and the general chemistry and physiology of the body.

The development of the different systems of exercise and the use of the different gadgets like extraordinary spring, walking machines, bicycles, dumbbells and similar apparatus were found to help in promoting vim, vigor and vitality.

The chief purpose of exercise is to obtain normal development of body tissues so that they will be capable of performing their ordinary functions.

Exercise increase the circulation of blood and improves the depth and rate of breathing. This helps eliminates wastes such as carbon dioxide in the body.

There is no absolute evidence that exercise helps protect the body from diseases. However, exercise increases the competence of the body to do physical work, improves fatigue endurance and produces perfection of movement.
